INTRODUCTION TO YOUTH IMPROV (AGES 9-15)

This introduction to the improvisation developed at Chicago’s Second City and seen on “Whose Line is It Anyway?” is about laughter and playing together. Through exercises and games you will learn about the “rules” of Improv, agreement, listening, story, teamwork, and the basics of scenes. You will also improve your patience and self-confidence. And here’s the secret: Anyone can do it! There is no memorization, you don’t have to be funny and, best of all, there are no mistakes. Make new friends or bring old ones, give it a try and sign up today!

the opening act at Improv Café the first Saturday of the month after one full session. This class is a prerequisite for the Improv Performance Group.
